Ambicare's patented ambulatory lighting products offer solutions incorporating OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) and LED (Light Emitting Diode) technologies. The products offer innovative battery operated flexible packaged solutions with high light uniformity.
Ambulight PDT, the company's skin cancer light source, is designed as a simple disposable dressing, applied in two parts, with the ability to deliver a single PDT treatment. The first part of the device contains the batteries and the microcontroller whilst the second part contains a novel, patent pending, wearable light source.
Ambulight PDT is worn by the patient and is small enough to allow the freedom to move around whilst undergoing a PDT treatment. Once the device is attached to the patient and activated, no further input is required.
